Steam can often cause Wine to crash when it does any pop up notifications or sound effects or anything similar. I also tried the debug mode but I cant make out what the problem is from the log. The thing that is bugging me is that the game runs perfect without any trouble but it just crashing for no apparent reason. I installed directx9, mono, and vcrun using winetricks and running wineskin engine 1. I am using the steam version and it all installed without problems. The crash appears to happen at different time with each faction I choose to play.
